A drive from Tampa to South Florida for a long holiday weekend is my official recommendation … crossing Alligator Alley seems to never end and the view goes on and on. One exit forms a road to seemingly nowhere with power lines as far as the eye can see. Taking this drive alone requires an ipod hooked up to the car stereo and a wide open sunroof. In the end, it’s all good, scenic and why we live in FLORIDA. Nothing is too far away and an entire change of scenery can be accomplished before noon!
